Before I got pregnant:

This is close to 8 weeks or so:

13 Weeks:

And now in all my glory of 20 weeks:

I already feel huge. I'm going to be a emotional mess by the time I hit full term. But I am taking a friend's advice to heart and really trying to "embrace it." I think it is slowly working.
It always helps when I focus on the good things so here are a few of my "pregnancy blessings:"
1-I didn't have any morning sickness
2-I haven't had any serious cravings. Except water. My doctor really likes this craving! And I always want pizza, but that wasn't something that happened with pregnancy. I could always eat pizza! I didn't tell my doctor about this craving. He was just so happy about the water that I didn't feel like I could crush his little spirit.
2.5-And just because I crave water, I was worried about gestational diabetes. My doctor says I am just fine. Diabetes free for now!
3-I've just now hit the same weight I was in college. Scary eh? Can you guys believe I gained that much during school?? I count it as a good thing that I moved to Roosevelt and stopped eating too much. Sorta....he he:)
4-I get to go shopping much more. I love shopping! And Motherhood Maternity has really awesome clothes. Old Navy also has cute clothes on their website, but not much of a selection in the store. If only....
5-My doctor gave me a magic pill that made my heartburn go away! I heart my heartburn perscription:)
6-My doctor might move up our due date because our little guy is so big! If that is the case, then I guess I should be getting bigger at a faster pace than my pregnant peers because he is growing faster then his baby-in-belly friends:) cute!
7-My little sister is good friends with my doctor's son, so every time I am telling them about a personal check-up, I refer to my doc as "Ian's Dad" instead of Dr. Syndergaard because it makes my sis very uncomfortable! Bah ha ha ha!
I just scrolled through my pictures and realized that my belly doesn't really look any different. I think that is because I am spreading out the back. It really is good for balance! Ha ha!

Keep working on embracing it! You look beautiful & most importantly you are growing a precious baby boy that will make it all worth it and more!
I think you look great, I can hardly see any belly. In a couple more months this will only be a dream. :)
Also, I didn't hit my college weight until about a month before I was due..... awesome. And my due date was moved up but then Will wasn't born until two days before the original due date. Due dates are all a wash anyway!
Keep the bump pics a'comin'! You are so cute- we'll have to eat pizza together in a couple weeks, ok?
Ha...if you feel huge now...wait til week 39!!! You are too cute
