So last week we had an ultrasound to find out the gender of our baby. We had the lady doing the ultrasound show us everything (like the head and the feet and etc....)but when we came to the part where she could see if it was a boy or a girl, we closed our eyes and she didn't tell us. Instead, we had her write whether it was a boy or a girl on a piece of paper and then seal it in an envelope so that we couldn't peek. We then ran down to the bakery at Stewart's (side note: the lady running the bakery that morning was super grumpy. I didn't like her.) and gave them the sealed envelope with instructions to open the envelope, bake a cake and then put blue frosting on the INSIDE of the cake if it was a boy or pink frosting on the INSIDE if it was a girl! We would later pick up the cake and gather with our family to cut into our "surprise cake" and find out what we were having!
For the rest of the day I was soooo nervous/excited! I called my mom and told her that I was so anxious to find out what our baby was that I thought I was going to start crying! And I really thought that I might cry!
So we got the cake from the bakery and had all our family (in the area) come over to our house. We had everyone eat first just to drag out the suspense

Cutest idea ever. And I love that you are having a boy! Both are great (obviously), but I'm a little biased on the boy side.
