Just a lot of random stuff

So I really don't have anything in particular to blog about, but I did have some silly little things to tell you about:
1) On Halloween my Grandma taught me how to make pumpkin pie. Really, it was just her making pie and me watching (when she tried to let me help mix it, she said I was doing it wrong and took the bowl away...)and it was delicious. I have already forgotten all the ingredients. Yay!
2) I tried to make my own jalapeno jelly on monday. It was really good, but it tastes nothing like regular jalapeno jelly. Turns out you shouldn't just guess on all your ingredients. Including pectin. Mom told me later that pectin is very fickle and you need to have a good solid recipe with exact amounts. Maybe next time.
3) I have to sweep my kitchen floor every morning because the guys drag mud in on their workboots every night and neither Andy or Ryan know how to take them off at the door. So this morning I made some comment about taking off their muddy shoes on the porch. I don't think they will.
4) I tried cutting my own hair this morning cuz I didn't want to bother Katie into doing it. I now have an uneven spot in the back of my hair. Now I have to bother Katie until she agrees to even it out. I'm totally awesome.
5) Ryan asked me what I want for my birthday. And he told me that he won't speak to me until I tell him. I actually can't think of anything so I am enjoying a few days of well deserved silence. Just kidding. It is driving me nuts when I ask him something or say something that in normal circumstances would warrant a response and I don't get a reply! Argh!

So that is all the random things that I can think of.
